His Project Band

The His Project Band is composed of five members. Lino Seychell (guitars and Vocals), Jason Flores Marmara (Drums & Percussions) Marco Vella (Bass), Charlot Scicluna (Guitars) and Winston Galea (Sound Engineer).
The Band members are old acquaintances, all from different walks of life, and have been performing together for many years, but not under the “His Project” cap. Actually, the band has been formed to represent their first song for the 2007 World Youth Day Song Festival organized by KDZ.
From that day onwards the band has been meeting up regularly in order to get stronger as a band and obviously to present a more professional look to the local Christian Music. His Project Band has been appointed to play at various venues and events. Events which included National Youth Week 2009 (Valletta Waterfront), Mixja Frangiskana (Baystreet), Pay It Forward (Kennedy Grove), Ohloq Tbissima, World Youth Day Contests ’07 & ’08, etc
Moreover, the band has one of their singles recorded and featured on the Awakening Asaph compilation. The CD compilation was organized by KDZ and it was produced at Doyaya Studios.
His Project Band has one aim, to perform at venues with a high professional touch to their art, and moreover, to perform professionally for God’s Message. The name itself represents the aim and ambitions of the band, that is, to make their artistry as HIS PROJECT. This mission was entrusted to the band so to promote GOD as the one and only God with a positive attitude to life and music.
For this year’s Ghanja Fest the band has teamed up with songwriter/composer Maestro Mark Agius, where all their ideas have been transcribed in a song. The band hopes that the message this song, whilst proposing a contemporary beat and message, poses some food for thought for everyone as it depicts the way we are living our ever hectic life today, which is affecting particularly our choices and priorities.
The song urges us to do something that we seldom have time to do… to stop, think and reflect!
